Karen Stokes, DVM

Dr. Karen Stokes earned her undergraduate and DVM degree from Kansas State University, graduating in May 1990. Her special interests include internal medicine and behavior. She practiced veterinary medicine in Overland Park, Kansas, Madison, Wisconsin, and Omaha, Nebraska, before relocating to St. Louis in 2017.

Dr. Stokes’ husband, Jeff, is a pediatric allergist/immunologist at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. They have three sons, two who live in Chicago and one who lives in St. Louis. Dr. Stokes' hobbies include hiking, reading, cooking, and gardening. At home, she has a King Charles Spaniel, Minerva.
